Storage Solutions
We have various models and sizes of specialised dry ice containers.
Bulk Quantity Containers
We have various models and sizes of specialised dry ice containers. These containers are highly insulated, protecting the dry ice from ambient temperature and reducing sublimation to as low as 2% in a 24 hour period. These containers are most suitable for storing quantities in excess of 100kg.

Storage Cartons
Our Storage cartons are suitable to store smaller quantities ranging from 3.5kg to 20kg. These containers are the most practical solution for storing small quantities and will reduce sublimation rates to less than 25% a day. The more dry ice you have stored in the container, the longer it will last. This means it’s important to have a delivery as close as possible to the time you will need the dry ice. Refrain from opening and closing the insulated container unnecessarily. When you remove product from the container fill the empty space with wadded newspaper or styrofoam sheets. Any “dead-air-space” will cause the Dry Ice to sublimate faster.

EPS Recycling
There is a general misconception that EPS is not recyclable and environmentally unfriendly. EPS is 100% recyclable and the material is re-processed and used in the following ways:
- Reground and used in insulation boards to improve the energy ratings of buildings and thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
- Used for the manufacture of pellets for the injection moulded industry.
- Used in the manufacture of products like plastic wood for use in decking and fencing.
Unlike corrugate alternatives, EPS has many unrecognised environmental benefits, please see below (Airpop is the brand name for EPS):

Factors Affecting Sublimation
- the ambient temperature and humidity.
- the insulation quality of the storage container
- how often the container is opened and closed.
- the amount of dry ice in the container.
- the amount of air space in the container.
Warmer temperatures increase the rate of sublimation.
Colder temperatures decrease the rate of sublimation.
Larger volumes of dry ice in a container decrease the rate of sublimation.
